	Credit EA 1.1: Optimize Energy Performance, Lighting Power Séura’s LED lighting components use 15%-40% less energy than fluorescent bulbs and last 250% longer. Even Séura’s standard fluorescent T5 bulbs consume less energy than typical fluorescent lamps and feature low-mercury, TCLP compliant, and ISO:9001 standardization benefits.
	Credit EA 1.4: Optimize Energy Performance, Equipment & Appliances Many of Séura’s products feature integrated ENERGY STAR rated electronics. ENERGY STAR is a joint program of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy driven to certify products and practices that both protect the environment and save money through energy efficiency.

Materials and Resources

	Credit MR 2.0: Construction Waste Management Séura’s packaging is 100% recyclable. Séura utilizes Airpad Inflatable Packaging made from easily recyclable high-density polyethylene (the same plastic as milk bottles). Products are shipped in unbleached cardboard boxes for easy recycling.
	Credit MR 5.0: Regional Materials Every Séura product is manufactured in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Much of the upper Midwest falls into the 500 mile radius eligible for credit in the category. Major metropolitan areas include Chicago, Minneapolis, Detroit, Indianapolis, Cincinnati, and St. Louis.

Innovation

LEED recognizes exceptional performance beyond the specific categories outlined by the system. Innovation is awarded with as many as five possible bonus credits.
