For those of you living in the warmer parts of the country, you may not understand the utter joy of these early spring days when the mounds of snow begin to shrink. It’s been a long winter in Wisconsin and we’re all suffering from cabin fever. But here at SÉURA, we’ve been keeping busy. With several large commercial projects in the works and a jam-packed tradeshow season on the horizon, this spring has been nothing short of hopping!
Back in January, we proudly accepted a TOPS award from Electronic House for our newest SÉURA member: the Hydra Waterproof Television. Popularity of this product has continued to skyrocket, and we couldn’t be prouder of this newest innovation. I’ve been dreaming of redesigning our kitchen so I can incorporate one in a glass tile backsplash … in a dazzling shade of purple. But I don’t think the husband will go for it!
Also, we’re in the midst of planning our presence at the 2010 Hospitality Design Expo in Las Vegas. We’ll be there like never before with a completely unique display of products for the commercial environment. If you’re participating in the event, be sure to stop by booth #322 to say hello to our SÉURA staff!

To say the last few weeks have been a whirlwind would be an understatement. If you receive our newsletters or follow us on Twitter or Facebook, you know all about the new products, awards, and partnerships we’ve been working on this fall.
At the recent CEDIA Expo 2009, we were more than proud to launch the newest addition to the SEURA family: Hydra. Hydra is a waterproof television and available in virtually any color of the rainbow! Also at CEDIA Expo last month, the CEDIA Electronic Lifestyles® Awards honored SEURA’s The ONE LCD technology as Best New Product in Manufacturers’ Excellence. This is the second award this year for The ONE ultra-thin 19” panel and SEURA is absolutely honored. Even more importantly, we’re getting phenomenal feedback from the field regarding the ease of use and exceptional quality of this 19” LCD solution. It’s always a pleasure to work with the folks at HGTV. This summer, we had the opportunity to work again with Candice Olson on an episode of Divine Design. The team revamped a space to be more accommodating for a father and husband with a disability. Their efforts were truly divine and we couldn’t have been happier to help. So, as the temperature begins to drop here in Wisconsin, things at SEURA continue to heat up. You’ll want to keep tabs on everything going on here, because it isn’t showing signs of slowing!
July 1, 2009GRAND RENOVATIONS
Life in the hospitality realm is getting busier by the day with renovations and new construction, and SÉURA is no exception. We’re proud of our most recent completed project, right here in our home state of Wisconsin. The Grand Geneva Resort, in Lake Geneva, Wis., is a shining example of Midwest luxury. Inspired by the Wisconsin-native Frank Lloyd-Wright, and boasting a championship 18-hole golf course, the current renovations at Grand Geneva have garnered a significant amount positive attention. Each of the 355 guestrooms has been redecorated with new furniture, bedding, fixtures, and vanishing television mirrors by SÉURA. Congratulations to the folks at the Grand Geneva for a job well done!
