Summary
Séura is seeking a person that will be responsible for planning, executing and evaluating projects according to timelines, budgets and expectations. The Project Manager position helps ensure quality control throughout the project life cycle and ensures consistency, accountability and provides motivation for the rest of the project team. This person will be integral to the day to day progress as well as completion of projects. This position will be responsible for a combination of task assignment and tracking, timeframes and budgets, project quality, client satisfaction and project success metrics.

  • Manage projects within a defined scope from initiation to closure.
  • Project plan activity planning and sequencing
  • Create an atmosphere of accountability for project results
  • Project Issue identification and risk analysis
  • Work with collaborative teams to create and set project timelines
  • Clearly communicate details and expectations to team members
  • Act as a mediator between team members
  • Resolve any issues and solve problems throughout project life cycle
  • Effectively manage project scope by ensuring that any changes to scope are documented and approved
  • Track and report on project milestones and provide status reports
  • Lead, coach and motivate project team members on a proactive basis
  • Develop tools and best practices for project management and execution
  • Research and make recommendations for new development, growth and innovation
  • Regularly share insights gained to help evolve strategies
  • Project documentation and report out

 

Success requires the following

  • 5-8 years Project Management experience
  • Analytical process development
  • 4 year degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Design, or related area
  • Familiarity with project management tools and/or software packages
  • Certification is a major plus (PMP or Certificate Training)
  • Waterfall Methodology Project Management preferred
  • Outstanding organizational & communication skills
  • Experience with MS Project, and Excel required
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously, and rapidly respond to changes in priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work with a wide variety of departments
  • AV/software development/ computer hardware configuration experience a plus
  • Experience with resource planning and an understanding of time and cost estimating
